Autism Acceptance represents a shift from focusing on “awareness” to embracing and understanding the diversity of Autistic and neurodivergent people. Acceptance moves beyond recognition to action, creating environments where people are valued, supported, and included. 

 

To support World Autism Acceptance Month in April, Autism Canada has created a series of toolkits tailored to different communities. Each toolkit offers ready-to-use resources, guidance, and ideas to help you participate in meaningful, inclusive ways.

The Impact of Your Support

 

In 2025, Autism Canada delivered:

  • 4,772 individual interactions across national programs

  • 60,660 minutes of direct support, equal to 1,011 hours of individualized, neuro affirming care

  • Financial assistance to 55 families through the Community Assistance Program, helping reduce barriers to care across

 

Every dollar raised helps ensure these supports remain accessible to families from coast to coast.
