Inclusion by Design is Autism Canada’s accredited training program, built with Autistic voices leading every step. This is not just training, it is a shift in how inclusion is understood, created, and sustained.

Designed to support schools, businesses, cultural spaces, community organizations, and public facing environments across Canada, Inclusion by Design meets people where they are. Whether in classrooms, workplaces, service settings, or community spaces, this program moves beyond awareness and into meaningful, practical change.

Aligned with the Accessible Canada Act and the shared vision of a barrier free Canada, Inclusion by Design supports organizations in identifying and removing barriers while embedding accessibility into everyday practices.

It equips those who interact with Autistic and neurodivergent people, and those with sensory sensitivities, with tools they can use in everyday situations. Whether supporting children, youth, adults, families, or the broader community, participants build the confidence and understanding needed to create environments that are accessible, respectful, and inclusive from the start.

Grounded in lived experience, accessibility, and universal design, Inclusion by Design supports environments where Autistic and neurodivergent people are not considered as an afterthought, but are included by design.

Sensory Friendly Audits
We support the creation of sensory friendly environments by identifying and reducing sensory barriers that may lead to overwhelm. Through thoughtful assessment and practical recommendations, we help increase comfort, predictability, and accessibility so that spaces are welcoming and usable for all.
Speaking Engagments
These sessions support inclusion by sharing lived experiences and practical insights that build understanding and connection. Each engagement is thoughtfully tailored to the audience, ensuring content is relevant, meaningful, and aligned with the unique context and needs of participants.
