Autism Canada’s Inclusion by Design training for cultural spaces supports museums, galleries, science centres, heritage sites, libraries, theatres, festivals, and community cultural environments in creating inclusive, accessible experiences for Autistic and neurodivergent visitors. This training provides practical, real world strategies to reduce sensory barriers, support communication, and create welcoming environments where people can engage comfortably and meaningfully. Ideal for museum and gallery staff, visitor services teams, program coordinators, educators, curators, event teams, leadership, and learners seeking training in inclusive and accessible cultural environments, this training focuses on building spaces that are responsive to sensory needs, flexible in communication, and grounded in accessibility and belonging.
