Summary: This research study examines the effects of a structured music-based NeuroArts intervention on emotional regulation, sensory processing, stress, and overall well-being among autistic individuals. The study will evaluate participant experiences and, where appropriate, psychological and physiological measures to assess potential benefits of music-based approaches.

Who can participate?

Autistic individuals who meet the eligibility criteria established in the approved research protocol. Participants may include children, adolescents, or adults on the autism spectrum, depending on the study design. Participants may also include individuals who are able to complete study activities independently or with caregiver support, where applicable.


What's involved?

Participants will take part in a structured music-listening program and provide feedback about their experiences. Participation may include listening to selected music sessions, completing questionnaires, and providing information related to emotional regulation, sensory experiences, stress, relaxation, and overall well-being. Where approved, the study may also include psychological or physiological measures to evaluate participant responses.


Deadline to participate:

Participant recruitment will remain open until the required number of participants has been enrolled or until the study recruitment period concludes. The final participation deadline will be determined following Research Ethics Board (REB) approval.
