Summary:

Exploring the lived experiences of accessible and affordable housing among families with children, youth and young adults with disabilities and identifying solutions to enhance inclusion is a 5-year project focused on the lived experiences of acquiring accessible and affordable housing among families with children, youth and young adults with disabilities and their families. Dr. Sally Lindsay, senior scientist at Holland Bloorview (TRAIL Lab), is leading this project with the goal of removing barriers to accessible and affordable housing for families with children and youth with disabilities.

Who can participate?

We are looking for:

• Youth with a disability

• Aged 19-29 years old

• Experience challenges with obtaining accessible and/or affordable housing


What's involved?

• Participants will be asked to take part in a 1-hour interview (your choice of virtual or in-person)

• Participants will receive a token of appreciation for participating.


How will participants be compensated?

Gift card.
