Service Providers

Autism Canada realizes the value in providing contact information of services providers. At the same time, compiling and maintaining a National list is a very difficult and onerous task. Until such time as we can give due diligence to this service we will be relying on other organizations compiled lists. We ask other provincial, national and international organizations to share their contact information of professional associations and organizations servicing individuals with autism spectrum disorder.

DAN! Practitioners List

The Defeat Autism Now (DAN!) group does provide a list of liscensed health care practitioners who have requested to be listed as providing DAN!-based interventions for helping autistic patients. Most are physicians, others are licensed health-care professionals in medically related fields.

The DAN! practitioners list is provided by the Autism Research Institute which at present has no means of certifying the competence nor quality of practice of any practitioner. They hope to be able to do so in the future.

Autism Ontario, through the ABACUS website, serves as the best possible source of information in Ontario for parents, caregivers, and the general community seeking services of Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA).

ACT Registry of Service Providers

Autism Community Training (ACT) of British Columbia provides a registry of service providers for children under six years of age. These service providers include Behaviour Consultants, Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Agencies.
