Your donation will be directed toward programs which give parents, caregivers and professionals information about effective treatments and therapies as well as programs to support scientific research focused on finding the cause and cure for autism. There are a number of ways in which you can make a financial contribution to this worthwhile cause:
Personal Donation

Memorial Donation
Many of our supporters choose to honour the memory of a loved one by setting up a memorial donation to Autism Canada. In doing so, you can ensure that your loved ones will be remembered through support to a wonderful cause that is near and dear to their hearts.

Honourary Donation
These donations have become an increasingly popular way of celebrating a memorable time in a close one's life. You can now donate to Autism Canada on behalf of a friend, loved one, or co-worker as a way of celebrating a wedding, birthday, anniversary, retirement, holiday or personal accomplishment of theirs. This opportunity is an excellent way of acknowledging the success and hard work while giving back to an excellent cause.

Corporate Donations
Being a good corporate citizen not only impacts the quality of life in the communities where you conduct business, but reinforces (or demonstrates) that you care about the health and well-being of these children and their families. The message will come across loud and clear to the public: you are thankful to people for supporting your business and you want to give back to the community.
We can help by ensuring that your message of compassion and generosity is reaching your community in a very visible and meaningful way.

Stock Donations
Donating appreciated stocks, bonds and mutual fund units is the most tax-effective way to make an outright gift during your lifetime.
Whether you donate cash or appreciated securities, you will receive a tax receipt that creates a tax credit. An extra tax incentive available for gifts of appreciated publicly listed securities makes stocks the least expensive way to give. Not only do Donors receive a tax credit for their gift but you also pay no capital gains tax.
Stock donations represent a win-win situation for everyone involved. Not only to you get the reward of making a contribution to an important cause, but you get the added bonus of receiving a tax credit while making a financially responsible donation.

Bequests
Leaving a bequest in your will is one of the most financially responsible ways of making a donation to Autism Canada, as it allows you to arrange a gift to Autism Canada while maintaining your cash flow and future financial security.

How will you be Recognized for your Support?
Recognition is consistent with the level of your donation. It may include company recognition on our homepage, Event and Sponsor Recognition Page, conference materials, brochures, marketing and program materials. Recognition will also be displayed in our Annual Report, newsletter, Facebook and Twitter. We will ensure that your message is known to as many people as possible.
